Childcare Survey
The East-Central Michigan Child Care Coalition is recruiting parent leaders to help build solutions to the child care crisis. We need parents who are using or seeking licensed child care for at least one child under 13 to share your experience, ideas and knowledge with our Coalition.
Take our short survey about your experience looking for child care. Your answers will help us build a better referral system, so that every family knows where they can turn for help in finding child care. This survey will take less than ten minutes to complete.
Shaping Our Future: 2025 Midland County Belonging Survey
This survey is designed to assess your experiences with belonging and inclusion in Midland County. An initial study of Midland County was completed in 2021, and this current survey will help identify areas where our community has made progress since 2021 and help identify areas in need of additional improvement.
The survey asks demographic questions followed by brief questions about economic opportunities, housing, health and well-being. The survey then asks about Midland County's response to the 2020 flood followed by questions about race and ethnic relations in Midland County. The survey concludes with questions about interactions with the police and criminal justice system in Midland County.
Each of these questions asks you to select an answer that best reflects your experiences specifically in Midland County.
The survey should take between 10-15 minutes.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Midland County to participate in the survey.

Midland City Modern
The City of Midland is excited to announce the adoption of Midland City Modern, the City’s newest Master Plan!
The Master Plan is the guiding document we use to help make informed decisions about the growth, development, and vision of our organization and the community through the year 2050 and beyond. In the plan, you’ll find useful demographic information about Midland today, explanations of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for us, and the ways that we can address those challenges and opportunities to keep our community growing and thriving for the next 30+ years. You’ll likely find information and ideas that you can use in your own organization. (It has lots of great photos, too!)
Midland City Modern was created using thousands of pieces of input from Midlanders of all ages, abilities, and walks of life. You helped us ensure that Midland City Modern is an accurate representation of our community, so this plan belongs to you, too. Check it out!

To be clear, I’m not talking favorite candy bar surveys, but actual things Midland County citizens would be concerned about... like whether or not roads should be one ways or two ways, which parts of town need updates the most, and how many back yard chickens is ‘too many’, you know… the big issues.
