Chippewa Nature Center

Chippewa Nature Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect all people with nature through educational, recreational and cultural experiences. Enjoy free admission to 19 miles of trails from dawn-to-dark, 365 days a year. The Visitor Center offers free admission and is open 8 am-5 pm Monday-Saturday and 12-5 pm Sunday and most holidays.

The Chippewa Nature Center Visitor Center features a hands-on Nature Discovery Area and Ecosystem Gallery, a River Overlook, Wildlife Viewing Area, Bur Oak Theater and Nature Center Store. Humane Society of Midland County

Humane Society of Midland County is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for unwanted and abandoned animals. Our small staff and dedicated volunteers operate and manage the only animal shelter in Midland County. In 2011, HSoMC took over management from Midland County Animal Control and became a “no kill” shelter. HSoMC brings the community together for the greater good of animals and the animal welfare.

Greater Midland Tennis Center

Midland BMX

Midland BMX offers a place for the tri-city area to race bicycles on a competitive level.
Come support the Midland BMX track by racing with us on Thursday evenings.
Registration starts at 6:00 PM with races starting at 7:00 PM. Your first race is free! After that, the entry fee is $13.00.
You must have a USA BMX membership to race. The membership can be obtained at www.usabmx.com. All required PPE must be worn to enter into a race. A safe bike. For additional questions, you may call or email.

Midland Miracle Field

A Miracle Field is a universally accessible soft surface baseball diamond that offers athletes of all ages with a cognitive or physical disability a safe and welcoming place to play ball without barriers. The rubberized surface of the 115’ diamond accommodates wheelchairs and assistive devices while helping to prevent injuries. And what’s more exciting is that each athlete is offered a community buddy, someone who assists athletes on the field as they bat, run the bases and field the ball, allowing parents and caretakers to cheer from the bleachers and enjoy the game. In a Miracle League game, everyone bats, everyone scores and everyone wins! Leagues and events are managed by the City’s Parks and Recreation Department and offers a spring and fall league each year along with programs and special events.
We offer spring and fall baseball to youth and adults with a disability, along with Competitive Unified Wiffleball and kickball.

Midland Soccer Club

The Midland Soccer Club (MSC) is the most comprehensive soccer club in Michigan with over 30 fields across 54 acres and programs for youth recreation, youth select and adults in three seasons. The Club offers a youth recreational soccer league of approximately 1100 players from U4 to U18 in spring and fall. In addition to youth, the MSC offers a men’s 19+ and 30+ league, women’s league and co-ed leagues.
