Affordable Housing Alliance's Evening of Impact
A 30th Anniversary fundraiser for the Affordable Housing Alliance of Midland County
The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) is proud to celebrate 30 years of providing safe, affordable homes for Midland County residents with its Evening of Impact fundraiser, to be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at The H Hotel in downtown Midland.
This milestone event will honor AHA’s three decades of community impact while raising critical funds to sustain and expand affordable housing opportunities. The event will feature an evening of lively entertainment from Midwest Dueling Pianos, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a raffle with exciting prizes.
“Our 30th anniversary is not just a celebration of where we’ve been—it’s a call to action for what’s still ahead,” said Mara Stewart, Executive Director of the Affordable Housing Alliance. “Every home we provide represents stability, dignity, and a chance for a better future for our residents. This event is about celebrating past success and rallying the community to help us accomplish even more. AHA owns 93 affordable rental units, but with over 185 families on our waitlist, we have a lot of work to do.”
Since its founding in 1995, AHA has provided affordable homes at below-market rates to hundreds of income-qualified families. Unlike other housing providers, AHA is not subsidized and relies on the low rent and community support to keep homes affordable. Tickets for the Evening of Impact are now available, with proceeds directly supporting AHA’s work in maintaining affordable rental units and addressing the growing demand for housing in Midland County.
