Midland’s Own Mintlights Drops New EP with June 20 Concert
At Max Loves Midland, we’re all about celebrating the stories and talents that make our community shine. Today, I wanted to shine a light on Tri-Cities singer-songwriter Mintlights (Lux Izquierdo). You’re invited to join Mintlights on June 20th at 7pm at Creative 360, for a special acoustic evening as Lux shares their heart through music with the release of their debut EP, Acoustic Heart.
Born from moments of love found and lost, Acoustic Heart captures the deeply personal experiences that have shaped Lux’s journey as an artist. This one-night-only event will not only showcase the songs on the EP, but also the musical influences—from classic rock icons to modern alt-pop and musical theatre—that have fueled Lux’s creative spark.
Mintlights, a name inspired by Lux’s synesthesia, began in 2015 and has since grown into a soulful and expressive musical project. You may have already caught one of their moving performances at places like the Midland Area Farmers Market, River Days, the Pendulum Lounge, or on stage at Art Seen Festival.
